Fees and getting started

This page sets out the current session options, fees, practical process, and key information for starting work with Meridian.

A structured and professionally held service

Sessions at Meridian are defined not only by the work itself, but by the environment and level of care in which that work is delivered.

In-person sessions take place in premium, professionally managed counselling spaces in Canary Wharf and Soho. These environments include sound-reduced rooms, white noise support, comfortable design-led interiors, adjustable lighting, air filtration and a discreet professional atmosphere.

Online sessions are delivered via Zoom Telehealth Pro, providing a secure, stable and feature-rich consultation platform with enhanced encryption and advanced telehealth functionality.

This combination helps ensure that the quality of the setting matches the seriousness of the work.

Session structure and regularity

Counselling sessions are usually weekly at the beginning. This can be reviewed over time depending on need, progress and availability.

How to get started

  1. Choose the service most relevant to you.
  2. Book an initial consultation online or request a brief introductory call if you have a practical question.
  3. Receive confirmation and, where relevant, secure intake and consent forms via the client portal.
  4. Attend your first session. If ongoing work is appropriate, regular appointments can then be arranged.

Introductory call

A brief 10-minute introductory call is available for practical questions. It is not a counselling session and does not provide clinical advice. Availability may be limited each week.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is required in advance of each session and is made securely through the booking system.

Cancellations or changes require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged in full.

Reduced-fee / concession spaces

A limited number of reduced-fee remote counselling spaces may be available for clients experiencing financial difficulty. These are offered subject to availability and eligibility.

Reduced-fee spaces may be considered for:
