Individual and couples counselling - enquire about practitioner availability

Meridian Counselling & Mental Health Clinic is an independently managed counselling and wellbeing business. We are developing a network of qualified practitioners and welcome general enquiries about individual counselling, couples counselling and coaching. Our educational pages explain these services. An enquiry or appointment request is not a confirmed clinical booking; practitioner availability and the necessary arrangements must first be confirmed.

This is an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment. Please send only your contact details and the general nature of your enquiry, not a clinical history. We will check the position and reply..

Structured, Confidential,

Professional Approach

Individual counselling

Confidential one-to-one support for anxiety, low mood, stress, transitions, personal difficulties and decision-making.

Couples counselling

A structured, impartial space to improve communication, understand patterns, and address relationship strain in a balanced way.

Coaching

A focused, non-therapeutic service for clarity, confidence, direction, performance and forward movement.

A more structured approach to counselling

Many people do not simply need a place to talk. They need a place that is professionally held, psychologically containing, and focused enough to help them understand what is happening beneath the surface.

At Meridian, sessions are not left vague or directionless. The work is thoughtful, paced, and structured to support clarity, emotional understanding, improved communication, and more considered decision-making over time.

This makes Meridian particularly suitable for individuals and couples dealing with complexity — where emotional, relational, cultural, and practical factors overlap.

Comfortable seating area with soft natural light.

A premium, professional environment

Meridian offers online counselling and access to carefully selected therapy rooms in London, including Canary Wharf and Soho. In-person sessions take place in discreet, professionally managed counselling rooms designed to support privacy, comfort and focus. About Meridian

Meridian was founded by Andre Phillips, whose role is business management, administration and service development. Andre is a counselling student at the University of East London and a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a BACP student member, Andre is bound by the BACP Ethical Framework. This does not confer qualified-practitioner status.

Andre does not currently provide counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, clinical assessments or clinical supervision through Meridian. Any clinical service arranged through the business will be delivered by the responsible qualified practitioner, not by Andre.

Meridian’s clinical recruitment is focused on appropriately qualified, independently insured BACP-accredited counsellors and psychotherapists. The network is in development. A practitioner’s appointment, credentials and availability will be confirmed before a clinical booking is accepted.

Andre’s BACP student membership relates to him personally. It does not mean that Meridian is BACP registered, accredited or endorsed, or that UEL has approved the business.
